Former Miss USA
Immediately upon being crowned Miss Texas USA in July of 2000, Kandace Krueger announced her intention to bring the USA crown back to the Lone Star State. In March of 2001, she did just that when she became the 50th Miss USA. Kandace truly relished every moment of her reign. She was honored to have served as an advocate for breast and ovarian cancer awareness and especially pleased to have raised more than $22 million for breast cancer research throughout her year as Miss USA. Other major highlights included the USO tour she took shortly after the September 11th attacks and representing the USA at the Miss Universe Pageant, where she placed 2nd runner-up.
After relinquishing her Miss USA crown, Kandace spent 7 exciting years in the broadcasting industry as a sports and entertainment reporter. Kandace was the first host of the popular Best Docs Network television show that aired in five cities in the Southwest, and also has appeared in numerous local and national television commercials.
